Alienware unveils its new gaming PC, the Aurora R13

Alienware adds a new entry in its magazine with the Aurora R13, a desktop PC for gamers with an always futuristic look.

Alienware therefore reveals its brand new Aurora R13 which logically follows the … Aurora R12! Amazing, isn’t it? One of the big news and promise of the manufacturer is a complete overhaul of its cooling system which we will talk about further downstream.

Alienware reviews its copy

The Aurora R13 always presents a design that is meant to be futuristic. The lines are pretty much the same with a very rounded look reminiscent of the interior of a spaceship, a bias you must love. The new case which bears the name of Legend 2.0 is equipped with the choice of a side panel in tempered glass to be able to reveal its components or its RGB. Based on information gleaned by TomsHardware, the case measures 589 x 510 x 225 mm and the interior volume is therefore 50% greater than the R12. In fact the air circulation is better with the presence of four fans. Those interested in the most well-stocked wallet will be able to count on an optional water-cooling system.

A significant gain in power

Results? According to Alienware, the Legend 2.0 would be 16% quieter at rest and 9% in game. Finally, the overall performance would be around 5% more compared to the R12. If some details are still missing, buyers will normally be able to take advantage of the flagship of Nvidia RTX graphics cards, namely the GeForce RTX 3080 or 3090. With the support of Intel Alder Lake processors (12th generation) which allows the support of the DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 memory

At this time there are no details on pricing and availability, Alienware. Note, however, that the case exists in two colors (with pompous names) namely Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon. Either, more clearly, black or white.
