Apple releases iOS 15.2 and Ipad OS 15.2

On Monday night, Apple sent out the sharp versions of iOS 15.2 and Ipad OS 15.2 to the public after a period of beta testing.

Integrity

  • With App Integrity Report in Settings, you can see how often apps have used your location, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, and more in the last seven days, as well as their network activity.

Apple ID

  • You can designate digital inheritance contacts so that they have access to your ICloud account and personal information in the event of your death.

Camera

  • Macro photo controls that switch to the ultra-wide-angle lens for taking pictures and recording videos in macro format can be activated in Settings on Iphone 13 Pro and Iphone 13 Pro Max.

The TV app

  • With the Business tab, you can browse, buy and rent movies in one place.

Carplay

  • Improved city map in Maps with road information on such things as turn lanes, center strips, bike lanes and pedestrian crossings in Maps for supported cities.

Other news

  • The Hide My Email Address feature in the Mail app for Icloud Plus subscribers allows you to create unique, random email addresses.
  • Find can locate an Iphone in power save mode for up to five hours.
  • Shares can show currency for a stock card name and return so far this year when you look at charts.
  • You can now delete or rename tags in Reminders and Notes.

Bug fixes

  • Siri may not have answered while Voiceover was running and Iphone was locked.
  • ProRAW images may appear as overexposed in some third-party image editing apps.
  • Homekit scenarios that include a garage door could sometimes not be run from Carplay when the Iphone was locked.
  • Carplay was sometimes unable to update Play Now information for some apps.
  • Video streaming apps sometimes could not load content on Iphone 13 models.
  • Calendar activities could be displayed on the wrong day for Microsoft Exchange users.
