Apple’s Live Text now works even without Apple Silicon

Apple’s Live Text is an interesting feature but previously only available with Apple Silicon-Macs, now it seems to be on the way to more.

Apple’s Live Text is a feature that can read text from an image using AI. However, this feature was previously only available if you have a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip, but soon this requirement will change.

Apple working now with also giving Intel-Macs access to Apple’s Live Text soon and this will be released with macOS Monterey this fall.

Exciting that Apple actually continues to give Mac with Intel support for features that at first seemed to only come to Apple Silicon, we can only hope that Apple gives us with Intel-Mac updates for a while when it comes to new features.
