Audi presents the new electric car e-tron GT

On Tuesday, February 9, Audi presented its electric future and with it its new electric car e-tron GT. The car is an electric sedan with a four-door coupe that comes in two models, the Audi e-tron GT Quattro and the top-spec Audi RS e-tron GT, both of which are locally emission-free.

The car’s exterior is intended to be dynamic and harmonious with an air resistance coefficient with a cW value of only 0.24 and an impression that the car is shaped by the wind. The interior is then classic spruce turismo design with sporty low seats separated by a console in the middle. The rear seat also has enough space for adults to sit comfortably.

Depending on the model, the electric motor in the Audi e-tron GT is 350 kW or 440 kW which in the car’s boost mode can be increased to 390 or 475 kW for a maximum of 2.5 seconds. The Audi e-tron GT Quattro does 0 to 100 in 4.1 seconds while the RS version can do it in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is 245 and 250 km / h respectively.

According to Audi, the 85 kWh battery has a range of up to 487 kilometers and the car’s 800-volt technology means that it can be quickly charged in sockets up to 270 kW. Something to do so the car can charge 100 km in just five minutes via a fast charging station.

The car’s suspension is then made for dynamism and comfort with the help of technologies such as Audi drive select, all-wheel steering, controlled damping, air suspension with three chambers, electric all-wheel steering and regulated differential brake on the rear axle. The size of the wheels extends up to 21 inches and the brake discs have a diameter of up to 420 millimeters.

Audio e-tron GT also has an infotainment system with two screens, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touch screen, LTE chip for wifi connection, online services from Audi connect, navigation from Here, own smartphone app , Carplay and Android Auto as well as a completely own audio signature.

The sale will start in February and the Audio e-tron GT Quattro will have an approximate price of SEK 1,158,000 while the RS version will have an approximate price of SEK 1,573,000.
