Bowers & Wilkins has now unveiled a new Zeppelin that has clearly become smarter to fit into today’s society.
The first time we saw Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin was in 2007 and then it was an iPod dock which was popular then, but a lot has happened since then.
With today’s speakers, everything is done wirelessly and you can connect in several different ways in addition to bluetooth. The new Zeppelin follows in the same footsteps and becomes significantly smarter with more functions.
Under the shell, the new Zeppelin has two midrange elements of 3.5 inches together with double tweeters of 1 inch and finally a subwoofer of 6 inches in the middle of the speaker.
What makes Zeppelin smart is that it will be able to play music from Airplay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect or Bowers & Wilkins’ own app. The speaker also supports aptX Adaptive for the best possible sound. To make the speaker a little smart, we find Amazon Alexa integrated, but if several assistants are on the way, we do not know.
Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin can be purchased starting today and the price tag is SEK 7,998.
