This will be a very short news about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. There is not much more to say except what Nintendo themselves have been featured in the video below.

See the short but official statement on why the game is postponed to 2023.

Eiji AonumaThe Legend of Zelda producer, promises that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will be good. It will be even bigger and more varied. We already know that an above world in the clouds will exist in the game. First Breath of the Wild was loved by the whole world and here at Varvat we gave the game a full pot. You can read the review here. If you have already played Breath of the Wild and want to dive deeper into the game, there are also “Making of” videos to watch here.

Delays are good

My personal opinion that this is good. I would rather they take their time and make a great game than try to rush out a bad one. Unfortunately, the gaming market is full of games that had their potential completely destroyed because the publisher wanted it out by a certain date. Two games that I know that took a lot of damage from it are American McGee Alice: Madness Returns and Shadows of the Damned. The first is filled with lots of filler to become a whole game and the second lacks one very important boss which instead became a shoot-em-up sequence that no one likes. Both of these games had EA as the publisher and the publisher did not want to give the game developers more than a year to make their games. Otherwise, they were very generous with resources.

While I’m waiting for the sequel, I’ll play again The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild while.
