Last night, HP unveiled several new products at this year’s edition of CES. Omen 45L is a computer dedicated to long gaming sessions. It is equipped with something HP calls the Omen Cryo Chamber, a cooler placed on top of the chassis that then draws in more air to cool the components in the computer. The Omen Cry Chamber can also be filled with liquid for more efficient cooling.
The top model of the computer has an Intel Core i9-12900KF, which can reach 5.2 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost, 30 megabytes L3 cache, 16 cores with 24 wires. The graphics in the top model are Nvidia GeForce rtx 3090. The Omen 45L has an entry price of SEK 26,000 and will go on sale in January.
If the price of the Omen 45L makes you hiccup, then maybe the Victus 15L is something instead. Victus 15L is the first desktop model in the Victus series. It has a compact design and two color options, silver and ceramic white. It is available with various graphics cards, including Nvidia Geforce rtx 3060 Ti or AMD RadeonTM rx 6600 xt graphics card, 12th generation Intel CoreTM i7 processors or AMD RyzenTM7 5000G. Victus 15L is expected to land in Sweden in February.
If you are a console player, you can look forward to the OMEN 27u 4k screen, the first screen in the series with hdmi 2.1 and is thus plug-and-play ready for the next generation of consoles. The screen has a 16: 9 ips panel of 4k, as well as adaptive refresh rate of 1ms and 144 Hz. It also has integrated speakers. Of course, you can also use it for your PC.
HP’s laptops, Omen 16 and 17 will be upgraded with graphics cards from the Geforce rtx 30 series and 12th generation Intel Core processors. At the time of writing, there are no Swedish prices.
