Media and content creators have been able to get their hands on Street Fighter 6 at Summer Game Fest’s in-person event Play Days, with devs on hands to provide a little extra info on Capcom’s upcoming fighting game.
As well as confirming rollback netcode (not a huge surprise, since every Capcom fighter for the last decade or so has used systems like this), sources have been told that Street Fighter 6 will also let us throw down against opponents on other platforms — always a massive boon in keeping the scene alive for fighting games.

Max also has a great first impressions video up that goes over the fundamentals of the game, and shows off some direct capture — that Shin Shoryuken animation is glorious, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this soon to report back with my own findings.
In the meantime, what are the Street Fighter 6 hype levels looking like around here? Eager to jump back in after SF5 skipped Xbox, or have you moved onto other series? Let’s hear it!
