Cyberpunk 2077 receives a roadmap and a confirmation from CD Projekt

An important message from CD Projekt.

Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of CD Projekt, spoke last night regarding the release of Cyberpunk 2077. His explanation confirms the suspicions that the management made the decision to release the game despite its permission. And as he says, we should not criticize the developers who put their time and talent into building the game – it is the managers and management who are responsible.

Furthermore, Iwiński describes the work of Cyberpunk 2077 roughly, in which he admits that the publisher overestimated the old generation consoles, to which the game had to be constantly adapted. But he wants to convince us that the publisher did not throw in the towel but will make an effort to fix the game.

You can read questions and answers regarding the development and publication of Cyberpunk 2077 on the game’s official Out Commitment page. There you will also be able to read more about future updates and DLC.

More patches to the people

Within ten days we will receive the first patch of the year and within a couple of weeks another, more comprehensive patch. Furthermore, we can expect regular updates that improve the game. Cyberpunk 2077‘s turbulent release has not affected CD Projekt’s long – term plans for the game, but as Mr. Iwiński explains, CD Projekt Red will first and foremost focus on fixing the game’s many problems.

Ahead of the second half of 2021, fans on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X / S can look forward to a next-gen upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077.
