Akira Toriyama’s world-famous prodigy Dragon Ball gets a completely new type of game for the franchise. It will be hot Dragon Ball: The Breakers and is about asymmetric multiplayer. A player takes on the role of one of the series’ famous supervillains (Cell, Piccolo [antagligen] with several), while five others play as “survivors”. The latter are characters with low fighting power and few or no superpowers to speak of, such as Bulma, Oolong and many more.
Storyn i Dragon Ball: The Breakers is that the “civilian” characters have ended up in a time seam and have to go home again. So they have to work together against one of these beasts with battle levels of several thousand (over 9000, I have heard) in a kind of cat-rat game.
When?
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is on its way sometime in 2022, but will have a closed beta (on PC) soon. More information is promised continuously.
Where?
The game is under development for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but will also support Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5. You will also be able to transfer savings data from Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2. What this unlocks or gives you, however, is still unconfirmed.
