E3 2021: Here is everything we know about this year’s gaming fair

E3, or Electronic Entertainment Expo, is the world’s largest gaming fair, which has been held in Los Angeles since 1995. And whether it is Keanu Reeves who thinks that everyone in the audience is “breath taking”, or press conferences that are unbearably rigid, there is no denying that the fair has offered many unforgettable moments. And soon it’s time again!

Here you see all videos from when M3 was in place last time the fair was in its original, physical form in 2019.

When is the E3 trade fair 2021 and how can I participate?

Since the pandemic hit in 2020, the E3 trade fair has become a completely digital event. When the fair was held on site, it was exclusive to a limited number of visitors, but now E3 is completely free and available to anyone.

This year, the fair is planned to be held between June 12 and 15 on E3’s site and associated app. Read more about the layout and register on E3’s site here.

This is how we are used to experiencing the E3 trade fair on site. This year, however, there will be no congestion or queues, as the fair is once again digital.

Which exhibitors participate?

E3 may be the world’s largest gaming fair, but far from all companies choose to participate. From 2019, Sony has participated, and for a few years now, EA has been holding its own event in parallel with the fair called EA Play.

Despite this, there are of course several publishers and developers who choose to participate. Here are some of the companies you can look forward to receiving news from at this year’s E3 trade fair:

  • Nintendo
  • Microsoft
  • Bethesda
  • Capcom
  • Ubisoft
  • SEGA
  • Warner Bros. Games
  • Koch Media

Which games will be launched at the E3 fair?

What we look forward to most with the E3 fair every year is of course to get a sneak peek at upcoming games. After the next generation of consoles has now been released, we hope that, after a few years of some game drought, that the cork has gone out and that we will see a plethora of games at this year’s E3 fair!

Here are some of the titles we hope to see:

  • Starfield
  • Battlefield 6
  • Far Cry 6
  • Rainbow Six Quarantine
  • Skull & Bones
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
  • The next generation Grand Theft Auto Online (maybe even, if we’re lucky, GTA 6)

In addition, there have now also been rumors that The next generation Nintendo Switch console will be on display at the show.
