2020 has moved to 2021, but that does not mean that last year’s countless problems have suddenly gone up in smoke; Earlier this month, we were reached by data that claimed that the E3 gaming fair will go digital again this year, and now these plans have been confirmed by the city of Los Angeles, where the fair traditionally takes place.
On page 18 i this cool pdf document (via Reset) lists E3 2021 as a “canceled live event in 2021”, although they are still working on options for live broadcasts from the Los Angeles Convention Center and licenses for 2022 and 2023. This does not come as a surprise to anyone, not least E3- the organizers ESA. which, based on previous information above, plans three livestream days between June 15 and 17, consisting of several two-hour presentations, a “preview evening” and an awards ceremony.
We expect an official announcement of the new E3 plans soon.
