Eight years of development notwithstanding – Cyberpunk 2077 is already a plus!

Despite some flaws (you probably did not miss our review?) Are Cyberpunk 2077 already a success story without its equal. Yesterday we were able to name CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi role-playing game for the biggest PC launch ever, and today we have been reached by the offer that the title is already a plus!

In a report namely writes CD Projekt Red that the advance bookings of Cyberpunk 2077, together with “expected royalties for licenses”, has already exceeded the sum of “the total development cost related to the game” and “the game’s marketing costs, which have already been paid or are expected for the rest of 2020”.

Not bad for a game that was announced in early 2013, and thus has been under development for at least eight years. Given that CD Project Red’s previous games The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also had (and still has) a very long sales tail, so will probably Cyberpunk 2077 continue to pull in the big house for years to come.

Here is the original Cyberpunk 2077the teaser, just for fun.
