We’ve been keeping an eye on Wanted: Dead, from the creators of Ninja: Gaiden and Dead or Alive, for a while now, so today’s deal was a real treat. We have an expanded view of the gameplay in a new video, a full half hour of guns, blood and thugs getting beaten up. Come for the grim dialogue, but stay for the over-the-top violence.
With combos incorporating katana and pistol, combat is fast and loose in Wanted: Dead, and looks like a lot of fun. We can’t imagine that his story will set the world on fire, which follows the exploits of the Zombie Unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad in a cyberpunk near future. But honestly, with moves like this, it really isn’t necessary.
