Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered has been under development for a long time now. The title was already announced at the end of 2018 and was scheduled to be released in the fall of 2019. After a couple of delays, we now have an unequivocal date: August 27. The release date applies to all platforms: iOS and Android devices, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The consoles will have physical editions in the home country of Japan, but nothing has yet been confirmed for other markets.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will let you play with other players regardless of platform. However, you will only be matched with players from the same region online. The powerful delays are very likely to have a lot to do with this multiplayer.
In addition to this ambitious multiplayer mode comes Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered also containing more areas and bosses than their original. Square Enix also promises more items, smaller features (such as a “mimic feature”) and cosmetic choices. Along with new recordings of the music and a renovation of the graphics, it seems that epithet Remaster will keep exactly what it promises. On August 27, we know. Until then, we can keep up with screen shots (see more at the game website) and a new trailer (see above).
