Flight simulators are poppis – Turtle Beach’s flight lever sold out immediately

Turtle Beach, perhaps best known for its headsets, has entered the flight simulator market, and it seems to be a successful move. The company now announces that the simulator control system VelocityOne Flight, available for Xbox and PC, has become one of the most pre-ordered products on their website. More than 21,000 stakeholders signed up to reserve a yoke with associated throttle controls, and when pre-orders opened on Wednesday, the control system quickly sold out. Turtle Beach’s warehouses in the US, UK and Germany sold out in less than a quarter, and remaining units in the rest of the world in less than an hour.

VelocityOne Flight is developed in collaboration with flight engineers and pilots and provides intuitive and realistic control.

Our investment in the fast-growing market for flight simulator hardware got off to a wonderful start when VelocityOne Flight sold out worldwide, says Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO of Turtle Beach Corporation. If you could not reserve a unit via pre-orders, we will release more in waves after VelocityOne Flight launches on November 14.
