CD Projekt Red confirms on Twitter that free DLC is something we can look forward to in Cyberpunk 2077, just like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As early as 2015, when paid DLC was a hot potato in the industry, the Polish game developer won plus points by releasing several free DLCs for their successful game. Hairstyles, missions and more were portioned out weekly after The Witcher 3’s release.
Free DLC in Cyberpunk 2077
To The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt we saw a wide variety of free DLC. Hairstyles, armor, side quests, alternative looks for characters, as well as cool new finishers and a New Game +. If Geralt’s dividends are something to go by, we can expect similar supplements for Cyberpunk 2077.
If I let my speculations run amok, I would like to see a suite of stylish clothes, exciting cyberware, legendary weapons, significant side missions and expensive cars to fill the garage with. While these desires are reasonable in relation to The Witcher 3, would it be cooler with DLC expanding the game world, providing new lifepaths, or why not the opportunity to play as Johnny Silverhand when he attacks Arasaka 2020? Or pop culture crossovers? I would more than like to drive a DeLorean.
Why not read a little about weapons while you yourself are speculating?
Next comes Cyberpunk 2077 be expanded with your own comic book and the Netflix series from Studio Trigger.
