“Free” PS5 and PS4 games for August 2021 leak … at Sony

Each month, Sony gives its PlayStation Plus subscribers a gift as a thank you for their loyalty. The manufacturer gives the opportunity to download games for free. Those for the month of August 2021 have just fallen. But rest assured, they didn’t hurt each other.

Didn’t it take you long to tour A Plague Tale: Innocence, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds? Well done, you are a real monster. But do you want to know what awaits you in a few days that will keep you busy? We were sure of it.

While it’s not uncommon for PlayStation Plus games from a given month to leak before their official announcement, the August 2021 titles leak isn’t really a card – it comes from the official US PlayStation site. The latter indeed already reveals the list of games that subscribers will be able to discover at no additional cost next month. Screenshots of this “leak” are available in our gallery below.

Once again, these are three games that Sony Interactive Entertainment intends to “offer” to its PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of August. And just to make you realize how lucky you are, the Japanese manufacturer insists on the fact that we are talking about two games to which is added “bonus PS5 game.” In any case, this is how Sony presents the thing on the official American PlayStation website (the French site has not yet been updated with this information).

Here are the games to pick up for free from Tuesday, August 3:

    • Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5 only)

It is about close combat as well in one against one as in a Battle Royale mode. Sony specifies here that only the PS5 version of the game is concerned here. Promotion does not apply to Hunter’s Arena: Legends on PS4.

Third-person shooter in which players can play as Plants or Zombies. We are talking about over 23 classes here and all of them a variety of game types, both competitive and cooperative.

As the name suggests, Tennis World Tour 2 is a game … of Tennis. This title allows you to embody famous professionals in the discipline or to create your own athlete. Online and local multiplayer modes are offered and a Career mode also offers to live the life of a pro on the circuit.

Knowing that the information comes from the official PlayStation site, it could not be more official. The traditional announcement via posts on social networks and the PlayStation Blog should therefore not delay.

The PlayStation Plus subscription costs 8.99 euros for 1 month, 24.99 euros for a quarter and 59.99 euros for a year.
