Delaying games is really nothing new, we usually know the reason and it is no exception with Ghostwire: Tokyo.
First, the idea was that Ghostwire: Tokyo would be released in October, for PC and PS5. but now Tango Gameworks, who are the developers behind the game, have announced that they will not really be able to keep that schedule but will have to move the launch forward to the beginning of 2022.
We already know that Ghostwire: Tokyo will be time-exclusive on PS5, but the launch of other platforms such as Xbox will also be moved forward. However, we can probably count on it coming to the Xbox, almost guaranteed.
The reason is that Tango Gameworks is owned by Zenimax, which in turn is owned by Microsoft and you can probably figure out the rest.
