Let the Right One In
This is Tomas Alfredson’s film adaptation of John Ajvide Lindkvist’s successful novel Let the Right One In, in our opinion the best Swedish vampire film. The film takes place in the 80’s Blackeberg where Oskar, who is bullied at school, gets in touch with Eli, a strange girl who has moved into the apartment next door. A well-made thriller where the real antagonists are not the monsters, but the humans.

The Cabin In The Woods
The Cabin in the Woods got a lot of attention when it was released, not only because Chris Hemsworth was there, but also because it is unexpected in many ways. The film is said to have been written in three days and was intended as an attempt to revive the slasher genre. The movie is bloody, but drives a lot with himself and is sometimes more like a comedy.
The Cabin in the Woods is not, as the name may suggest, a haunted cabin in the woods, but a zombie attack of large proportions. But who really sent the undead?
