In March, work on the second season of Netflix’s fantasy series The Witcher was suspended due to the growing corona pandemic. Production resumed in August, but only lasted until November, when the corona again caused problems. And now another obstacle has appeared.
According to British The Sun. has The Witcher star Henry Cavill injured himself during the resumed recordings. Apparently the scene involved circus arts with axes up in trees (with a safety line), but according to information, Cavill should no longer “be able to walk properly”, which has now delayed production further. The premiere has previously been planned for 2021, but 2022 is starting to feel like an increasingly likely launch window.
