Here’s the news from Ubisoft’s major launch event

French game developer Ubisoft held one of its Forward events on Thursday, where the company presents upcoming games and shows more of the titles already presented.

Many years ago, a game version of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World which then suddenly and inexplicably disappeared. Now the game is on its way back and will be released on Switch, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Windows and Stadia just in time for Christmas shopping.

We also got to see more of Immortals Fenyx Rising, which previously had the title Gods & Monsters. Ubisoft does not even try to hide the fact that the game is a Breath of the Wild clone, but has still added some interesting new features. The company also took the opportunity to point out the fragile weapons of the Nintendo game.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was one of the biggest games on the sixth generation consoles (Playstation 2 and original Xbox). Ubisoft revealed at the event that a remake for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Windows is under development and will be released in January 2021.

Riders Republic is an MMO for extreme sports. Go mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and more in huge tracks with up to 50 online opponents.

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Shadow Legacy is a new game in the popular shooter series that will be released before Christmas for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot also made a new one statement about how the company should work to change its corporate culture to become inclusive, free from racism and sexism. Among other things, Ubisoft will set up new mentoring programs for women and “under-represented groups”.

– We are at the beginning of a long journey. Real change will take time.
