Huawei may have found a new circuit maker

Huawei has had a hard time finding manufacturers that have nothing to do with Americans, but now they seem to have found a new circuit manufacturer in Shanghai.

Huawei now looks to give Shanghai IC R&D a chance to manufacture their processor Kirin in the future, this after TSMC was no longer allowed to have the assignment after the conflicts that Huawei had with the American authorities.

According to the latest information, the production of Huawei’s circuits will start before the turn of the year and the goal they have together is to go from 45 to 28 nm before 2021 is over.

For us consumers, it is probably more interesting how this affects future phones and other products from Huawei, we simply have to wait and see, but Huawei seems to have a solution for it anyway.
