We already have tested Pro version of Huawei’s latest P40 flagship. But it does not end where the Company has now confirmed that it is releasing the “Worsting variant” Huawei P40 Pro Plus in Sweden in July.
The Huawei P40 Pro Plus is equipped with an Ultra Vision Leica Penta camera based on the company’s largest CMOS sensor to date. The sensor measures 1 / 1.28 inches and gives the camera 50 megapixel resolution as well as Full Pixel Ocat PD Autofocus which promises fast autofocus and good dark images.
The mobile’s Ultra Wide Cine camera is 40 megapixels and there is a super zoom that provides an optical zoom of 10x and a digital zoom of 100x. A front-mounted 32-megapixel camera with IR depth sensor, subject isolation and bokeh effects can then be used for selfies. The multi-camera system works with Huawei XD Fusion Engine to merge and process data from multiple sources and improve image quality.
The display is a Huawei Quad-curve Overflow with thin frames, slim corners and fingerprint scanners built directly into the screen. Inside the mobile, a Kirin 990 5G SoC processor works with integrated 5g modem and wifi 6 plus technology (160MHz). The phone also supports 40W Huawei Supercharge wireless and a Supercool 4-in-1 system to keep the temperature down.
The mobile does not have access to Google’s apps but instead uses Huawei’s official app store Appgallery.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus comes in black and white. The recommended circa price is SEK 13,990 for the model with 8GB memory and 512GB storage.
