A new leak from Reddit would have revealed five new retro games available at the launch of PS Plus Premium. Among several PS1 classics.

The mystery around the PS Plus Premium retro catalog is gradually thinning. While Sony is still slow to officially communicate on the games released from the PS1 to the PS3 that will be available, some players are taking care of it in its place.

Classics in PS Plus Premium

The PS Plus Premium will make people happy. As we know, the new subscription formula merging PS Plus and PS Now will allow players to access almost 350 games from older generations. What Sony is keeping secret is the official list of PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 games that will make up this retro catalog. A new leak could have revealed some of them to us.

And fans of the first PlayStation should be in heaven. An user Reddit would indeed have managed to get their hands on identifiers and visuals of five games that will join the PS Plus Premium. Among them two classics, one from the PS1 the other from the PSP. On the one hand Tekken 2 released in 1996, on the other Ridge Racer 2 which made the heyday of the portable console in 2006. The first known retro games would then be:

  • Mr Driller (PS1)
  • Tekken 2 (PS1)
  • Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)
  • Worms Armageddon (PS1)
  • Worms World Party (PS1)

Another must-have PS1 license planned?

If the leak in question seems credible, caution is still in order. Last week, another leak revealed the potential return of the Siphon Filter saga, an iconic PS1 license. However, we will have to wait for confirmation from Sony to find out if all these beautiful people will re
