There is still a screaming shortage of graphics cards in the world, but the manufacturer Nvidia continues to accelerate with new launches. During this year’s (virtual) Computex trade fair, as expected Ti versions of the RTX 3080 and 70 cards up, and will be on sale already on June 3 and 10, respectively. If you can get them, that is.
The Geforce 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti offer fairly expected performance improvements. The former card expands primarily with 12 GB of GDDR6X graphics memory, but also increases the computing power and the number of cuda cores from 8704 to 10 240.
RTX 3070 Ti, in turn, should be just over 1.5 times faster than RTX 2070 Super. Of course, it is also faster than regular RTX 3070, but the biggest news is the improved memory type (GDDR6X) and a boost frequency of as much as 1.77 GHz compared to 1.73 for last year’s RTX 3070 card.
The RTX 3080 Ti will go on sale on June 3 at a target price of SEK 12,900, while the RTX 3070 Ti, which will be released a week later, will have an approximate price of SEK 6,400. We do not even dare to speculate on what the different partner models will actually cost and how much the current component shortage affects the final price.
