The anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a series that usually generates new games at regular intervals. Now the publisher has BANDAI NAMCOannounced that they will release Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure: All Star Battle R! The game is an anime-styled fighting game with a massive character gallery from the TV series. It’s also a remake of the past JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure All Star Battle which was released for PS3. Now with even more content. The game will be released on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in the fall of 2022.
The developers are Cyberconnect 2 known to have done before Naruto Ultimate Ninjagames. They promise that the game will do Hirohiko Arakis (JoJocreator) drawing style faithful and the game will also have all the Japanese voice actors from the original series, who i.a. favorites Takehito Koyasuwhich makes Dios voice
For those who do not know, so be it Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure a manga that began in 1987 and became one anime 2012 which is still releasing new episodes. The series is about the Joestar family who have been fighting the vampire Dio for several generations. If you have internet, the chances are quite high that you have ever encountered JoJo memes in your life.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R will be the biggest game so far in the series according to BANDAI NAMCO. They also promise 50 characters from the series’ all story arc (!!). Players will be able to relive the awesome moments of each story and see heroes from different universes interact with each other for the first time. Among the characters we find i.a. Jonathan Joestar, DIO, Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne Cujoh (the first female JoJo ever) and many more!
The game itself should contain many game modes for those interested, but also the opportunity for players to create their own content in the game. We will see what that means in the future!
