It’s now more than a year since studio Ember Lab’s action-packed fantasy game first hit the public eye. A long time for the launch of the PS5 at the end of the year 2020, the adventure had preferred to refer to the first quarter of the year 2021, before settling on August 24, a date that seemed firm and final.
Ponte dei sospiri
But the plans changed once again, since Developers are now forced to postpone Kena Bridge of Spirits for another month, just to afford the small amount of time necessary for their initial vision:
– Kena: Bridge of Spirits (@emberlab) July 28, 2021
We had to make the difficult decision to postpone Kena’s release until September 21 to refine the game on all platforms. The team worked extremely hard and we feel that this time frame is crucial in order to ensure that the experience is the best it can be.
We know many of you are eager to play it and we thank you for your patience as we continue the work to deliver the best version of Kena.
We can bet that the development of the game on three different media will indeed have put the nerves of the developers hard-tested, and It will therefore be necessary to wait until September 21 to discover the universe and the puzzles of Kena Bridge of Spirits on PC, PS4 and PS5. The game therefore continues to feature a little alongside the many postponements to which the industry must get used, an obvious fact in such uncertain times.
Come on, this time it’s the right one! Besides, Kena is well worth a, isn’t it?
