On June 22, it is time for this year’s edition of the developer conference WWDC, which means that it is now teeming with rumors of what we will see.
Latest news is the well-known technology leak Sonny Dickson claims that we will see an upgrade of Imac, where the big news is a new design reminiscent of the Pro Display XDR display. Otherwise, Apple’s T2 chip, AMD Navi graphics card and ssd storage are offered in place of the Fusion Drive hybrid solution.
It is not clear from Dickson’s Twitter post whether the screen size is changed or not, but previously it has been rumored to be a new 23-inch model that is intended to replace the current 21.5-inch model (read more below).
It’s also unclear which processors will be used, but it’s probably the tenth generation Intel Core (Comet Lake).
A new 23 inch Imac is on the way
Apple is filing an upgrade of Imac and according to new rumors cited by macrumors Among other things, this is a new model of 23 inches that is intended to replace the current model of 21.5 inches.
Despite the larger screen, the overall size remains largely unchanged, as the frame is smaller. What news is being talked about otherwise is unclear, but we can probably expect more powerful processors, more storage space and the like.
The new model may be launched relatively soon, but of course it assumes that there will be no more production disruptions due to the corona virus.
In this context, it may be mentioned that a new touchpad of 11 inches is also rumored, but it is unclear if it is an upgrade of Ipad or Ipad Air.
