Either it is a genocide of Ubisoft, or it’s an honest mistake. Whatever is behind it, the Playstation Store in Hong Kong recently posted a lot of information about it yet to be confirmed Far Cry 6.
During the short time the title was up on the website, it became clear that the scene for the next release in the series will be the island of Yara, which is described as a tropical paradise where time stood still. It will be the largest map to date in a Far Cry game and the surroundings will be very reminiscent of the island nation of Cuba. The villain, also the dictator of the island, is named Anton Castillo and played by none other than Giancarlo Esposito, perhaps best known as Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad.
Our hero is called Dani Rojas, a local islander and guerrilla soldier who fights for freedom. The arrangement is thus recognized from previous games.
Fans have also managed to figure out that the game will be released for both PS 4 and PS5. Players who purchase the PS4 version will be able to upgrade the game for free to the new console generation. The release date seems to be set for February 18 next year, but it should be taken with a good deal of salt. Ubisoft will certainly be in a hurry to provide official information and we will report to you as soon as we know more.
