Bandai Namco and Malmö-based Tarier Studios are happy to announce the release date on the long-awaited Little Nightmares II. Just in time for the winter rush, fans can now look forward to playing on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on February 11, 2021. Later in 2021, the horror will also arrive on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X with a free upgrade for anyone who already has the title of previous consoles.
You will be able to see gameplay from the first track Wilderness today Friday 28/8 during Gamescom Studio (sorry I do not have a link, but keep an eye on Twitter).
This time, players take on the role of Mono, a young boy jailer imprisoned in a distorted world. Mono is joined by Six (from the first Little Nightmares) which is computer controlled this time. Players must agree with Six and work with her to solve puzzles, discover terrible secrets and escape.
While the monsters from the first game thankfully appear to be absent in Little Nightmares II, it looks like new, even scarier adults have taken their places. The grotesque teacher will make everyone want to go to school and the hunter in the forest reminds us how scary nature can be in the evening. But the mannequins have already paralyzed me and are threatening to suffocate me with my own heart.
Is it slender we glimpse at the end?
We are very happy to finally be able to show you more about Little Nightmares II, a year after the announcement at Gamescom 2019. We wanted to spend a little extra time with the game to give it more love and be able to create the best experience for our passionate fans.
