Manual reveals new model of Ipad Air without home button

Macrumors draws attention to the fact that pictures have appeared online from a Spanish-language manual showing an upcoming model of Ipad Air.

In the pictures we see that the fourth generation Ipad Air has a much narrower frame compared to the current model, which means a larger screen on the same surface. This in turn has led to the home button being removed, so to activate the device you need to use the built-in fingerprint reader (Touch ID) in the power button.

Otherwise, it can be noted that charging takes place via usb-c instead of lightning and that there is a Smart Connector that makes it possible to connect the Magic Keyboard and other accessories.

Given that Apple has registered new iPad models in the Eurasian Economic Union it may be considered probable that the new Ipad Air will be released already this autumn and not this spring as has been rumored before.

According to the Chinese site Mydrivers Apple will launch a new model of Ipad Air in a few months.

The biggest news will be an A14 processor and an 11-inch retina display. In addition, support is offered for Smart Connector, which makes it possible to connect the Magic Keyboard.

The price, on the other hand, is said to increase by $ 150, which means that prices start at $ 649 instead of $ 499.

In this context, it can be mentioned that the iPad Pro will probably be updated in 1-2 months, but it is still unclear whether we will see support for micro-led or not.
