Marvel’s Avengers open beta this weekend

Starting tonight at 21:00, players on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC will be able to jump into Square Enix’s upcoming action role-playing game Marvel’s Avengers open beta. Without any purchase barriers, players can try out four of the game’s single player missions free of charge. However, you need one Square Enix account to participate.

The open beet for Marvel’s Avengers takes place from Friday 21 August at 21:00 until Sunday 23 August at the same time.

In the beta, players will be able to take part in four single player missions (Hero Missions), three HARM Room challenges, four War Zones and five Drop Zones. In total, the beta contains several hours of playing time. In addition, War and Drop Zones can be experienced on your own with computer-controlled helpers or online with other players.

Gamers on Playstation who do not want anything to do with Avengers can download instead Fall Guys (with Playstation Plus) and play it instead. It’s super fun, I promise.

As an extra small incentive, players on Playstation and Xbox who link their Square Enix and Epic Games as well as the beta’s three HARM Room challenges can obtain a Hulk Smasher Pickaxe and Hulkbuster in Fortnite.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released on September 4 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
