Microsoft has stopped making the Xbox One

Xbox One X

Microsoft is busy filling store shelves with Xbox Series consoles but also games, hence the production of Xbox One has been completed.

When it was thought that Xbox One would live and be in stores to buy for a while longer, we now find out that Microsoft has already stopped producing the “old” console.

This was done as early as the end of 2020 and the information comes from Cindy Walker, senior director of Xbox console product marketing, she says the following:

“To focus on production of Xbox Series X / S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020.”

In short, Microsoft and the Xbox team want to put all the focus on the Xbox Series X / S, which may not be completely stupid, but quite the opposite of what Sony does, they recently announced that production of PS4 will continue this year, at least one million consoles to be manufactured.
