In April, the Nintendo Switch exclusive was unveiled No more heroes III would jump to other platforms, including the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
It has now received an official release date for Japan – and will arrive at this location on October 6 for 6,800 yen. This updated version of the game will feature both 60fps and 4K resolution. Plus, for the first time ever, there’s a full Japanese audio option.
For Xbox owners in the west, the game is expected to release locally this fall. There’s no exact release date yet, but if the Japan release is a little too long, it shouldn’t be too far away.
In the run-up to the Japanese release, Marvelous is hosting an official No More Heroes III live stream on June 30th – where some of the voice actors in the Japanese release will be playing next-generation versions of the game. You can read more in our previous post.
