Now you can test 5g with Tele2 in 30 Swedish locations

On May 24, Tele2 was the first to launch 5g in Sweden. Since then, the rollout has continued and now Tele2 announces that 5g has been launched in over 30 Swedish locations with speeds up to over 1 Gbit / s.

Between May and October, Tele2 rolled out 5g first in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Borlänge.

In November, Tele2 was also the first with 5g in Boden, Enköping, Falun, Gävle, Karlskoga, Luleå, Mariefred, Motala, Piteå, Rättvik, Sandviken, Strängnäs, Sälenfjällen and Greater Stockholm with, among others, Solna, Huddinge, Lidingö, Täby, Botkyrka, Sigtuna and Södertälje.

Tele2 says that they are also the first with 5g speeds of over 500 Mbit / sec in Eskilstuna, Linköping, Norrköping, Uppsala, Västerås and Örebro.

To access the 5g network, you need a 5g-compatible phone from Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Sony or Huawei and a Tele2 subscription of 25GB, 50GB or unlimited data. For corporate customers, 5g is included in the subscriptions 5GB, 15GB, 50GB and unlimited.

In connection with the roll-out of 5g, Tele2 is also taking the opportunity to upgrade the capacity of the 4g network. The company promises that the upgrade will make the existing 4g network 50 to 200 percent faster.
