Twin Mirror

Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller with a heavy focus on storytelling and player-driven choices and consequences. Depending on the choices you make as the main character Sam Higgs, you shape the story and its outcome. In the Twin Mirror, many choices seem to oscillate between the rational and the emotional and the conflicts that arise between them.

Feel free to read our impressions Twin Mirror from a streamed viewing this summer.

You play as Sam Higgs, a former digging reporter with a strong analytical mind who in the game takes the form of the Palace of Memory. There you will be able to explore Sam’s memories and personality. In the memorial palace he is safe and there players can get to know him in depth. In contrast, he is cold on the outside and can both hurt and annoy people around him.

To help the player and Sam through difficult social situations and to balance difficult choices, Sam has an alter ego called Double. Double is a fantasy fetus and only Sam can interact with him, but players can trust that Double acts as moral support and advisor.

Long awaited

After phenomenal Life is Strange I’ve been looking forward to Dontnod’s next game for a long time. Skilled narrators but above all incredibly good at creating human and believable characters Twin Mirror much to live up to. Above all, it will be exciting to see how the pace of the game and the scope of the story have been affected by the shift from episodic to full game. Originally was Twin Mirror intended to be divided into three parts, but since Dontnod took over the release, the game has gone into a coherent experience.

Twin Mirros will be released on December 1st and we can not save ourselves!
