Prime day 2020 – all about Amazon’s big sale

What is Prime day?

Every summer, the e-store giant Amazon celebrates its own shopping festival called Prime Day, where members of Amazon’s customer club can take advantage of exclusive offers on selected products. So it really has nothing directly to do with Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video. This year, Prime Day has been postponed to October due to the coronavirus that delayed the annual discount party.

When is Prime day?

In 2020, Prime Day will take place from 13 to 14 October. Although the name suggests that it is only about one day, of course Amazon can not stay based on previous years, so just like most shopping holidays, Prime Day lasts longer than 24 hours. In 2018, the shopping party lasted a full 36 hours! Not only that, in the weeks leading up to Prime Day, Amazon celebrated with new offers for its members every day.

Amazon has so far not launched any Swedish or even Scandinavian site.
