During the Ubisoft Forward presentation in September, it was announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, a remake of Ubisoft’s classic action adventure from 2003. The launch was also nailed to January 21, 2021, but now the game has most likely been delayed until March 18.
We say “most likely” because the advertisement was published on Ubisoft’s Czech Facebook page, before it was immediately taken down. Gematsu has, however, taken advantage of the full (translated) statement, which says that “2020 was a year unlike any other”, and that you therefore need extra time to complete the game. The world situation should have been relatively crystal clear already in September, it is thought, but Ubisoft perhaps thought that the development teams could have started to return to the offices by now?
