Konami now announces that it chooses to redo the entire setup with Pro Evolution Soccer and changes its name to eFootball.
There will thus be no more Pro Evolution Soccer, but on the other hand, the football game will remain but will then go under the name eFootball and not only that, the game will be a free-to-play.
This in turn means that the game is free, but just like many other free-to-play, eFootball will be financed via microtransactions, something that has been very popular among football players.
eFootball has been rebuilt from the ground up and will now run on Unreal Engine 4, which you should test yourself if the feel and graphics are there for a game in this genre.
Konami plans to release eFootball this fall and then for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Sometime later, eFootball will also be released on Android and iOS.
