“Rekkles” out – “Larssen” last Swedish jump: League of Legends

Few people and even fewer teams have had the chance to take home the victory from the European finals LEC Spring and LEC Summer. As the names suggest, they are played during their respective seasons and we are now approaching the decisive weekend for which team will be able to pinch the trophy. It is mainly two teams, Fnatic and G2, that have shared the title in our region.

In the spring, however, it was the first time since 2014 that none of these teams won. Instead, Mad Lions did, who have already made it to the finals in this playoffs as well. There, they will face the winners from the upcoming semifinal between Rogue and Fnatic, which starts tomorrow, Saturday, at 17:00 Swedish time. In Rogue plays “Larssen” who is the only Swedish player left in the tournament.

A meeting that became possible after Fnatic won their last match against rivals G2 and thus pushed them down, as well as the Swedish star “Rekkles”, from moving on to the world championship later this autumn, after an even match that ended 3-2. The Mad Lions have thus already secured their place in the World Cup finals, while Rogue and G2 are competing for who needs to qualify and who will get the second safe place for the finals. Ideal for drama this weekend, in other words.
