Samsung has now introduced the third generation of its mobile with folding screen in seashell model, Galaxy Z Flip 3 5g. This should not be confused with Galaxy Z Fold 3, which was also launched today.
The new phone has a 6.7 inch full hd plus amoled main screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen on the front is a 1.9 inch super amoled that is four times as big as on the previous model. The screen on the front is intended to check the phone on the go and also supports Samsung Pay.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a 10 megapixel selfie camera and a 12 megapixel dual dual camera with ultra-wide-angle lens. The phone also has several new camera features such as the ability to take selfies hands-free through Flex Mode or Quick Shot that takes a picture or video without you having to unfold the screen.
The mobile’s operation is a 5nm 64-bit Octa Core Processor of 2.84 Ghz, 8 GB of frame and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The 3,300 mAh battery can be quickly charged in 25W and charged wirelessly in 10W.
Together with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is the first mobile phone with a foldable screen that is equipped with ipx8 water resistance. Armor Aluminum, the strongest aluminum material ever in a smartphone, together with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus will also protect the phone from scratches and falls. A new protective film also makes the screen 80 percent more durable than before.
Samsung says they are now working closely with leading companies such as Google and Microsoft to develop more apps that take full advantage of the foldable screen.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes in four colors, “neutral cream”, “trendy green”, “trendy lavender” and “phantom black”. Samsung.com also has the colors gray, pink and white.
Price is SEK 11,490 or SEK 11,990 for 128 and 256 gigabytes of storage, respectively.
