Sniper Elite 5 is the upcoming installment in Rebellion’s long-running shooter series, arriving on Xbox Game Pass on its first day! We’re also only about two months away from launch, so of course we’ve been treated to a new trailer.
As has become the norm for the series, expect guts and blood; a lot of it! The trailer shows off some pretty disgusting new X-ray effects and yes, we’re definitely looking forward to wreaking havoc with our shotguns to be honest.
There are also a few new locations and weapons on display here as the fifth entry in 1944 goes to France during World War II. The developer has also added a new first person point of view to provide a more tactile experience when using secondary weapons.
Sniper Elite has always been defined by its authentic firefights and we wanted to take that to the next level for Sniper Elite 5 […] We focused on improving the character and feel of our weapons, including adding an “Ironsights” perspective to pistols and secondary weapons such as SMGs.
