Here we go again! The escalation to the next big adventure in The Elder Scrolls Online is up and running and on Thursday next week the developer Zenimax Online Studios will reveal what they are cooking together for 2021 and their online role-playing game.
You can watch the broadcast live on January 21 on Twitch at 23:00 Swedish time.
The broadcast is hosted by ESO’s father Matt Firor and Bethesda’s marketing and communications manager Pete Hines. They are joined by The Elder Scrolls Online creative director Rich Lambert, plus several developers from the studio. Together they will unveil the next big chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online and the adventures that await us during the year. Probably in the form of a story that extends throughout 2021.
As the teaser trailer shows, it seems that Mehrune’s Dagon, the demonic prince of destruction and general misery, is the antagonist. Fans remember him as the primary enemy in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion from 2006.
On The Elder Scrolls Online official blog writes that the broadcast will tell more about the chapter’s new worlds, challenges, systems and adventures. Even though I think we should curb our excitement, it is still interesting that they choose to write worlds, which suggests that we may have several areas to explore. IN The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion the player could attack several different areas of Oblivion (Demon Kingdom) to stop the Demon Invasion. Maybe something similar will happen The Elder Scrolls Online.
Personally, I am most curious about what new systems will be added. The Elder Scrolls Online is almost seven years old and it shows. Although the game is rich in activities and systems, I think the game needs something fresh that breathes new life into it. New weapon types, more skills, or just a world event that is not a horde fashion.
Next week we will know more. Do not miss it! Or miss it on purpose and return to us after we summarize the shipment! We have several reviews on The Elder Scrolls Online and its expansions that you can read here for so long.
