Sony has since the beginning of the year teased and talked a bit half about its drone Airpeak S1, but now we finally get to see it and know the price tag on the drone.
The first time we heard about the Sony Airpeak S1 for real was during this year’s CES at the beginning of the year, after that we have not really heard much about drones, until now.
Sony has now finally shown off the Airpeak S1 which is clearly a drone for the more experienced and full focus on filming or taking pictures. First and foremost, the Airpeak S1 is created to be used with Sony’s own mirrorless cameras.
Airpeak S1 will be able to handle wind speeds of up to 70 km / h, but in addition to powerful engines, Airpeak S1 is also equipped with five stereo cameras that keep track of the drone so you do not drive on obstacles or crash into anything.
However, the Airpeak S1 is not a cheap drone, the price tag is expected to be 9,000 dollars and then this is without a gimbal or camera, only a drone. Sony plans to start selling the Airpeak S1 this fall.
