
Chrome OS 14583.0, a new version of the Chromebook operating system, is currently being beta tested.
The big news is support for Steam, but it requires the eleventh generation Core i5 or i7, Iris Xe graphics and at least 8 gigabytes of working memory.
Therefore, the support is limited to the following seven models:
- Acer Chromebook 514 (CB514-1W)
- Acer Chromebook 515 (CB515-1W)
- Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (CP713-3W)
- Asus Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5500)
- Asus Chromebook CX9 (CX9400)
- HP Pro c640 G2 Chromebook
- Lenovo 5i-14 Chromebook
As for the available games, there are 48 titles, more specifically these:

It should be pointed out that this is an early preview version, so there are plenty of bugs and the like.
