Steam reveals the most played and sold games in 2020

So towards the end of the year, it’s time to round off and reflect on the 2020 we will gratefully leave behind soon. We did this by listing the best games of the year, and now Steam has released the lists of the most popular games on Valve’s platform.

On Best of Steam 2020 the most successful and popular games have received their well-deserved cred. Among other things, you can see which games made the most money during the year, and there are not many surprises:

  • Dota 2
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds
  • Doom Eternal
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Rainbow Six: Siege
  • Destiny 2
  • Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  • Among Us

When it comes to those the most played games the list looks pretty similar, but with at least a little surprise:

  • Dota 2
  • Among Us
  • Terraria
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Life is Strange 2
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  • Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord
  • Destiny 2
  • Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds
  • Grand Theft Auto V

Sure, it’s a bit unexpected to see Life is Strange 2 so high up here, but fun that narrative games can coexist with all AAA creations.
