This week, Halo Infinite Lone Wolves – Season 2 launched to fans on Xbox, PC and with Xbox Game Pass, and today we’re excited to take a closer look at what to expect from the season storyline in “Lone Wolves”.
“Lone Wolves” is the start of an engrossing multi-season storyline that puts your personal Spartan at the center of the unfolding action. Season 2 opens with two scarred Spartans arriving at the Avery J Johnson training facility with a dangerous prize…and vital information about banished plans. As Season 2 progresses, you will unlock the next chapter of your Spartan’s story.
Not every Spartan operation benefits from more Mjolnir shoes on the ground. Headhunter assassinations, deep exploration, information purging, and ‘off the books’ black ops require Spartans with a very specific set of skills and minimal signature in the conflict zone. The recent conflicts have also introduced a new factor: Spartans feeling completely cut off from the UN Security Council, forced to search deep behind enemy lines for ammunition, food and power cells. With luck, they can connect with other survivors and create ad hoc packs tied to their Spartan training and indomitable drive to achieve victory in humanity’s darkest hour.

“Lone Wolves” puts your Spartan at the center of an all-new storyline in humanity’s war against the Banished. As you uncover long-buried secrets, including one of the Banished’s most diabolical innovations, your victories and achievements in these pivotal events will pave the way for a new generation of Spartans to hold the pack.
Sigrid Eklund enhanced her calm and reserved demeanor during her service as a UNSC Army Ranger and supported human resistance groups with words occupied by the Alliance. As a Spartan, these attributes – as well as Eklunds’ deeply strategic mind – are invaluable in the current conflict against the Banished and their rapidly growing influence.
Prior to joining the SPARTAN-IV program, Hieu Dinh was a field analyst with Section III of the Office of Naval Intelligence, charged with capturing and repurposing Covenant technology. These same skills – combined with Dinh’s high risk tolerance and penchant for improvisation – may have just put him in his most dangerous situation yet.
As part of the Lone Wolves Season, you can earn and unlock the items that the Spartans Eklund and Dinh carry themselves during the Battle Pass. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the gear up for grabs!

Spartan Eklund is a silent professional, adept at both covert surveillance and kinetic attacks. She has adopted the STRIBOG helmet as the core of her armor and uses its extensive reconnaissance capabilities to direct precious UNSC combat assets to the right place at the right time.
Spartan Dinho wears a custom ensemble formed by brutal close quarters engagements against exiled boarding schools and destruction teams. His helmet is an ARTAIUS model, co-opted from a small series of prototypes originally intended for a new class of combat exoframes.

But that’s not all.Season 2 of Halo Infinite will also introduce players to a new Fracture armor set that once again puts a unique spin on the Halo universe.
The Entrenched Fracture is a world ravaged by super-scientific ether bombs and alchemically enhanced soldiers. Though the country is devastated, the United Nations Security Federation fights on in blind obedience to the orders of long-dead generals. Their sworn enemies, the zealots of the Covenant, survive only as hordes of rad-poisoned mutants bickering over the remnants of their once-proud civilization. Surviving on the front lines requires an EAGLESTIKE-powered plate, a warsmith’s marvel that protects against both radiation and Covenant plasmatron weapons.
