It’s the newspaper Entrepreneur who writes that Whatsapp will get a bunch of new useful features on the 8th of February. Some of the features that come to the app are:

Calls and video calls on the desktop version
Those who use Whatsapp on the computer have noticed that it is great to chat, but not to make calls or have video calls. According to Entrepeneur, this will be implemented.
The ability to use the same account on up to four devices. Whatsapp is linked to your phone number, which means that you can not use the same account from, for example, your work phone. The only exception at the moment is if you use the web version of Whatsapp on a tablet, for example.
