2020 did not turn out quite as most of us had thought. Edmund McMillen also ran into trouble when the California fires forced him and his family to sell their home, which combined with programmer James Id’s depression led to delays in the planned The Legend of Bom-Bo-dlc: t.
Also The Binding of Isaac: Repentance had to suffer, as the game as late as September was still scheduled to be released on December 31, 2020. This apparently did not happen, and now Edmund McMillen has taken to Steam to inform that the new launch date has been nailed to March 31. We also got a very atmospheric trailer created by Alex Hicks, which testifies that poor little Isaac is still struggling.
Here is the new trailer for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
